This year we helped Peugeot with a great project – The crowdsourced #T16CrowdFilm Myself and several other bloggers as well as the general public helped Peugeot document Loeb’s fantastic run up the Goodwood Hill in his 2013 Pike’s Peak racer. The result was very cool as you can see from the above video. Enjoy. Remember we are on Facebook & Twitter so don’t forget to like and follow us. Just under £300k could get you one of the most beautiful cars I’ve ever seen. When is was a kid I had a small Corgi model of a Bentley Continental fastback and I have always considered it to be the most beautiful car to ever come from the British manufacturer. Until now. Feast your eyes on this beauty. Isn’t it stunning? I found this on eBay. It is bespoke coachbuilt car and only 5 will be made. Here is what the eBay ad says: 1953 Bentley R Type Fastback CoupéRead More
We got up close to a very rare Lotus Motorsport Elise Recently we visited our local Lotus dealer to photograph a very rare Lotus, the Motorsport Elise. These cars were manufactured exclusively for the Lotus Autobytel championship in 2000. The Autobytel Championship was run alongside the British Touring Car series. The specially-built Motorsport Elise featured a tuned Rover K-Series engine, aerodynamic bodywork and central driving position. The cars were prepared by Lotus Sport at a cost to the driver of around £60,000 a season. K-series engines were tuned by Minister and developed around 200bhpRead More

Toxic Green Lotus Exige S V6 Cup
Lotus’ suit bright colours better than most. Doesn’t this Lotus Exige S V6 Cup look great in Toxic Green? I’ll make no secret of the fact that I love Lotus’ and I dare say that I love them even more in bright colours. My favourite colour on the S1 Elise has always been Scandal Green so it is no surprise that this Exige V6 Cup in the new Toxic Green is right up my street. TUNED: Litchfield Nissan GTR

UK-Based Litchfield have decided the GTR is just too tame When we usually think of a Nissan GTR we know they are fast, personally I didn’t think the GTR needed an upgrade.   Already managing to reach 60mph from a standstill in just 3 seconds!  But if you thought the Nissan needed a little more poke then you will be thrilled to know that Litchfield Tuners have been modifying the GTR to get even more power out of the 3.8 litre V6 engine. Litchfield are one of the most recognisable namesRead More

iRANT – Motorway Service Food

David bemoans the lack of choice whilst ‘on the road’ The recent news about Wetherspoons opening a pub at a service station on the M40 got me thinking about my own issues with the food available to motorists. Now the Wetherspoons issue has sparked controversy due to the fact that alcohol will be served at a place that will be mainly frequented by motorists but that doesn’t really bother me. I’d like to think that in today’s society most drivers would be sensible enough to not drink and then getRead More

Autosport International Show 2014

Autosport International 2014 previews a great season of racing Birmingham’s history of active motor sport may be limited to the short-lived Superprix around the streets during the 1980s. Every January, though, the city opens its doors to the country’s leading exhibition dedicated to the sport. The show is never less than remarkable in terms of its breadth and reach. From karting to F1, historics to drag racing, radio controlled cars to GT monsters – every taste is given due attention. It’s a vivid reminder of the scale of the industryRead More
