Timeless Prestige Cars

While there may be no real absolute definition of what makes a prestige car, the one thing it certainly needs to be is desirable. Thanks to the blend of history, performance and glamour that prestige cars usually bring, however, this does mean they have been known to also come with an inflated price tag.

But they are options. Of course, there is Prestige Car Finance which can offer affordable ways of owning your dream car. Then, we’ve always found that eBay is as good a place as any to enter the prestige market with a whole host of classic cars that come with the elegance, style and refinement, but also offer real value for money. With that in mind, here are 4 timeless prestige cars currently available on the auction website.

Mercedes 280SE Coupe

Having been originally released back in 1959, this 280SE Coupe is a true classic in the Mercedes back catalogue. The car being offered on eBay still retains its original engine (matching numbers) and original colour scheme of Sand Beige Metallic with Tobacco interior. The paint looks superb and with only some light marks on the roof, and the interior is still as luxurious as ever with beautiful wood and leather in equal measure. The model available is in near mint condition and will turn as many heads as it did back in the early 60’s.

BMW M power Z3

If you’re after a more modern classic, look no further than this BMW M power Z3. Coming in a nostalgic Estoril Blue with Blue/Black Leather Electric trim and Blue power hood, it’s in stunning condition and is a great example of a car that’s holding or going up in value. While its relatively high mileage could put some off, it does mean this Z3 is very reasonably priced.

Jaguar E Type 4.2 Series 1.5 Roadster 1968

Jaguars are always going to be sought-after when it comes to the prestige market, and we absolutely love this unrestored E Type 4.2 Series 1.5 Roadster which has spent its entire life in California. The bodywork is completely original with ‘zero corrosion or damage’ and the paintwork is described as ‘excellent’, while the mechanics drive are said to be first class. The only bit of restoration being offered is a set of new black leather seat covers included in the sale, ‘as the heat in California destroys leather.’

Audi 80 Coupe 1978

When something as unique and extremely rare as this 1978 Audi 80 comes up, you should always take note. The 2 door saloon is unrestored and completely original, coming in its original Panama Brown paintwork with olive interior. Having had just two owners on the continent, it’s also clocked just 29k miles since leaving the factory, making it as good as new. It’s so rare in fact, that it’s set to feature in the new series of The Grand Tour with Clarkson et al.
